These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lumigo website and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Lumigo lets you discover, track, and organize movies and TV shows, create lists, write reviews, and receive recommendations. Movie and TV metadata is provided by third parties (including TMDB) and is offered on an "as is" basis.

2. Accounts

To use certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You must be old enough to form a binding contract under applicable law.

3. User content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as lists and reviews). By submitting content, you grant Lumigo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and use that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You are responsible for your content and must not post anything that is unlawful, infringing, or abusive.

4. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
Do not scrape, resell, or misuse data obtained from the Service.
Do not infringe the rights of others.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Some features require a paid subscription. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and fees are billed in advance for each billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. You can cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.

6. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Lumigo is cookieless and uses only privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Litlyx).

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Lumigo or its licensors and is protected by applicable laws. Movie and TV artwork and metadata belong to their respective rights holders.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates third-party providers (including Supabase, Stripe, Litlyx, TMDB, and Sanity). We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lumigo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
