This Privacy Policy explains how Lumigo ("Lumigo", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website and services (the "Service"). We are committed to a privacy-first, cookieless experience.

1. Our cookieless approach

Lumigo does not use tracking, advertising, or profiling cookies, and we do not use third-party cookies for analytics. We do not display advertising and we do not sell your personal data. Because we only rely on strictly necessary first-party cookies, no cookie-consent banner is required to use the Service.

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account or sign in (including via Google sign-in), we process your email address and basic profile details (such as your display name and avatar) to authenticate you and operate your account.
Content you create. Lists, reviews, ratings, preferences, and similar content you add to the Service.
Payment information. If you subscribe, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; Stripe handles payment data as an independent controller/processor.
Anonymous usage analytics. We use Litlyx, a cookieless analytics tool, to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (such as page views and feature interactions). Litlyx does not use cookies and does not build advertising profiles. A temporary session identifier is kept in your browser's sessionStorage and is cleared when you close the tab.

3. How we use your information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
To authenticate you and keep your session secure.
To process subscriptions and payments.
To understand, in aggregate and anonymously, how the Service is used so we can improve it.
To communicate with you about your account or the Service.

4. Cookies and local storage

We only use strictly necessary, first-party cookies and limited browser storage:

Authentication cookies (set by Supabase, our authentication provider) to keep you signed in. These are first-party, HttpOnly, Secure cookies and are essential to the Service.
Payment cookies (set by Stripe) only when you begin a checkout, to enable secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
Local/session storage used for functional purposes only (for example, caching search results and a cookieless analytics session id). This is not used for tracking or advertising.

We do not set analytics or advertising cookies such as Google Analytics or Google AdSense cookies.

5. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the Service:

Supabase — authentication and database.
Stripe — subscription and payment processing.
Litlyx — cookieless, privacy-friendly analytics.
TMDB — movie and TV metadata and images.
Sanity — content management for editorial content.

6. Data retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may delete your account at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at omniselect.ita@gmail.com.

8. Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
